SC: Mere Mention of 'Arbitration' Does not Form Agreement Without Clear Intent - 10.11.2025
Supreme Court upheld the Punjab and Haryana High Court’s decision to refuse referring the dispute to arbitration. It noted that merely including the term “arbitration” in a clause does not compel arbitration unless the parties clearly intend to resolve disputes that way.
