Allahabad HC: Wife Can Claim Maintenance in Voidable Marriage Until Nullity Decree - 29.09.2025

Allahabad High Court held that a wife’s right to maintenance cannot be denied simply because the marriage is voidable; unless a decree of nullity is passed, she remains entitled to maintenance. The possibility of annulment alone does not bar her claim before the court.
