Del. HC: Hindu Marriage Act has Gender Neutral Provision for Maintenance - 22.11.2023

Delhi High Court while observing that Section 24 & 25 of HMA are gender neutral, has held that a spouse having a reasonable earning capacity but remains unemployed without indicating efforts to gain employment shouldn’t be permitted to saddle other party with responsibility of meeting out expenses.
