SC Issues Direction to Frame Guidelines for Appointment of Support Persons Under POCSO - 21.08.2023

Supreme Court has issued direction to State of U.P to convene meeting within the next six weeks to review the facts, take action, and frame rules/guidelines to fulfill the mandate for a "support person" as envisaged under the POCSO Rules.
