Kar. HC Issues Guidelines on Civil Imprisonment for Willful Contempt of Court Orders - 24.07.2023

Karnataka High Court has issued guidelines to be followed while ordering civil imprisonment to an accused for willful contempt of court orders under Order XXXIX Rule 2A of CPC, and observed that while ordering civil imprisonment, the court should bear in mind the fundamental right under Article 21.
