Mumbai Court: Nude Strip Searching of Undertrial Prisoner Violates Right to Privacy - 17.04.2023

Mumbai Court has while directing Mumbai Central Prison authorities to use scanners and electronic gadgets to conduct personal searches of Undertrial Prisoner (UTP), has observed that taking search by making UTP nude is violation of his fundamental right of privacy, it is also humiliating.
