SC: Mere Acquittal in Criminal Case Doesn’t Entitle Employee to Reinstatement - 02.03.2023

Supreme Court while observing that merely because a person is acquitted or discharged, it cannot obviously be inferred that he was falsely involved, or he had no criminal antecedents, has held that mere acquittal does not entitle an employee to the reinstatement in service.
