Delhi HC Directs DNRs to Appoint Grievance Officers Under IT Rules 2021 - 16.09.2022

Delhi High Court while dealing with cases concerning proliferation of fraudulent domain names resulting in monetary loss to public has directed various domain name registrars (DNRs) to appoint grievance officers in compliance of Information Technology Rules, 2021 within a period of one week.

SC: Right to Establish Educational Institution is FR, Can't be Restricted by Executive Instruction - 16.09.2022

Supreme Court has held that the right to establish an educational institution is a fundamental right (FR) under Article 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India and reasonable restrictions on such a right can be imposed only by a law and not by an execution instruction.

Delhi HC: NOC of TM Office Mandatory for Copyright Registration of Artistic Work in Goods & Services - 16.09.2022

Delhi High Court has held to obtain copyright registration of artistic work which is being used or is capable of being used in respect of any goods and services, no objection certificate (NOC) is mandatorily to be obtained under the proviso of sec. 45(1) of Copyright Act, 1957.

Delhi HC: Temporary Official Appointed on Work Charge Basis Can’t Claim Seniority for Such Period - 16.09.2022

Supreme Court Allows Amendment of BCCI Constitution - 15.09.2022
