SC: Challenge to Surrogacy Age Limit Can’t be Decided Without Considering Facts of Each Case - 31.07.2024

Supreme Court while hearing pleas regarding challenge to provisions of Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021 and the Surrogacy (Regulation) Rules, 2022, has clarified that decisions about age limit in matters of surrogacy cannot be decided without considering facts of each case.

Del. HC: Maintenance to be Given to Major Child Till He Does Not Become Financially Independent - 02.08.2024

Delhi High Court has held that a child who is pursuing his education would be entitled to maintenance under Section 26 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 even after he attains the age of majority, till the time he is pursuing his education and is not financially independent.

Ker. HC: Court Can Exercise Jurisdiction Over Courts & Tribunals Within its Territorial Jurisdiction - 01.08.2024
