Warner Music Group Loses Copyright over ‘Happy Birthday to You’ Song - 24.09.2015

United States District Court in Los Angeles has held that long claimed copyright on “Happy Birth day to You,“ the most popular tune in the English language, is not valid. Earlier it was controlled by music publisher Warner Chappell and its parent company, the Warner Music Group.
