Karnataka High Court: Remand Order Passed in Absence of Accused Does Not Entitle Him to Seek Bail - 12.06.2017

Karnataka High Court has observed that mere non-production of accused from time to time and failure of Magistrate to pass express order remanding accused to custody do not vitiate the proceedings, nor does it confer a right on accused to seek for his release on bail.
