SC: `No Reservation in Single Vacancies' - 24.09.2015

SC has ruled that reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs would not apply in case Govt. was filling up a single post in one of its cadres. However if person from reserved category was already in government employment and eligible for single post through departmental promotion, then this would not apply.
