SC: Wages Withheld Due To Disciplinary Action Can’t Be Restored Under Payment of Wages Act - 07.06.2017

Supreme Court has held that prescribed authority under Payment of Wages Act(PWA) is not an appellate authority in disciplinary proceedings and therefore it has no right to sit in appeal and to set aside the order of withholding of increments passed in disciplinary proceedings.
