Bombay HC: To Invoke Abetment of Suicide, Necessary to Prove Suicide Committed as a Result of Cruelty - 24.05.2017

Bombay High Court has observed that for invoking provisions of Section 306 of IPC it is necessary for prosecution to establish that deceased committed suicide as a result of cruelty provided to her within the meaning of S. 498A of IPC and that act of commission of suicide is abated by accused.
