United Kingdom’s First Tier Tribunal: POEM OF Mauritius Managed Trust in UK - 22.05.2017

United Kingdom’s Tribunal while ruling on Place of Effective Management (“POEM”) of two Guernsey based trusts having UK settlors and a Mauritius based trustee at the time of a transaction of transfer of shares has said that POEM of trusts is in UK and transaction attracts tax being leviable.
