Supreme Court Looks For States' Opinion on Centralised System to Recruit Judges - 10.05.2017

Supreme Court, concerned over rising vacancies in subordinate judiciary and huge pendency of cases, has sought views of State Governments on a central selection mechanism for judicial officers as it decided to examine proposals of its committee on judicial reforms.
