Bombay High Court Denies to Lift Beef Ban During Bakri Eid - 22.09.2015

Bombay HC has rejected to lift beef ban for 3 days, Sept 25-27 during Bakr-Eid, on several petitions filed by Muslim community, observing that granting interm stay would amount to staying ban under Section 5 of Maharashtra Animal Preservation (Amendment) Act.
