Madras HC Imposes Rs 1 crore Fine Each on TN govt, MCI Over PG Medical Seat Matrix - 03.05.2017

Madras High Court cracked its whip on Medical Council of India and State Government for their failure to ensure surrender of 50% of postgraduate medical seats by unaided private institutions to Government, as mandated by law, and imposed Rs 1 crore each as cost on them.
