Additional disclosures by NBFCs in public issue of debt securities

MANU/SDIP/0001/2015

The Securities Exchange Board of India notified new disclosures to be made by Non-Banking Financial Corporations in offer documents for public issue of debt securities. These include providing information on loans, non-performing debt and ‘onward lending’ made to entities within the NBFC’s group. The new requirements will align disclosure requirements for NBFCs with those stipulated by the Reserve Bank of India.
