Steps Taken by The Central Government for Relief to Farmers in view of Deficit Monsoon

To counter deficit in the monsoon during 2015’s Kharif season, the Central Government has taken steps to provide relief to farmers, and has advised all State Governments of the same. The measures include fiscal aid in the form of subsidies and disbursement from disaster relief funds, and provision of additional work from the national rural guarantee scheme.
