Uttarakhand HC Declares River Ganga & Yamuna ‘Living Entities’ - 21.03.2017

Uttarakhand High Court has declared Ganga and Yamuna river living entities, bestowing on them same legal rights as a person, a move that could help in efforts to clean pollution-choked rivers.
