Supreme Court Agrees to Hear Bar Dance Girls Plea Challenging State Law - 28.02.2017

Supreme Court has agreed to hear a petition filed by women working in Maharashtra’s bars, including dancers and waitresses, against constitutionality of a 2016 State law containing a rather explicit definition of what is “obscene” in dance.
