Supreme Court Directs Home Ministry to Audit Jail Expenses - 23.02.2017

Supreme Court, while unearthing “huge discrepancy” in jail accounts, has asked Home Ministry to take assistance of the Comptroller and Auditor-General to come out with a scheme to audit expenditure in jails on or before March 31.
