Punjab and Haryana High Court Refuses to Stay Haryana Polls Bar - 15.09.2015

Punjab and Haryana HC has denied to stay provisions of Haryana Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Bill, 2015, through which education qualification was set up for contesting panchayat election, as election process had already begun but results of panchayat polls would be subject to outcome of writ petition.
