Supreme Court: Officer's 'Annual Confidential Report' Forms Part of His 'Service Record' - 03.02.2017

Supreme Court has held that Annual Confidential Report (ACR) of an officer forms a part of his ‘service record’ and that the same could not be ignored for the purposes of his promotion merely on ground that it was written after some delay, as no prejudice is caused to officer.
