CCI imposes Penalty on Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation and its two office Bearers for Contravening Competition Law

The Competition Commission of India found Kerala Film Exhibitors Federation, an association of theatre owners, to be conducting activities in contravention of Section 3 of the Competition Act, 2002. The Commission had been informed that due to differences between the Informant and KFEF, the Federation had not allowed screening of Malayalam and Tamil films in the Informant’s theatre since May 2013.
