NGT Bans Burning of Waste in Open Places, Announces Fine of Rs 25,000 for Violators - 23.12.2016

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has imposed a complete ban on burning of waste in open places and announced a fine of Rs. 25,000 on each incident of bulk waste burning.
