NGT Imposes Fine of Rs. 50K Each on Centre, Gujarat Government, WIL For Green Norms Violation - 14.12.2016

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has imposed fine of Rs 50,000 each on Central Government, Welspun India Limited (WIL), Gujarat government and its four other departments for failing to respond to a petition alleging Green Norms violations in laying pipeline to discharge waste water into the sea.
