Bombay High Court Orders Rape Convict to Pay Rs 1L to Reduce Sentence - 08.09.2015

Bombay High Court has reduced a rape convict's sentence on condition that he pay Rs1 lakh to survivor, over 11 years after incident in 2004. It was done after survivor appeared in court with her husband and expressed her desire to buy peace with convict, who is also married having a threeyear-old daughter.
