Madras HC: NIA Suspects Can be Detained Beyond 90 days - 05.12.2016

Madras High Court, while ruling that there was nothing wrong in extension of remand of Riswan Sheriff, arrested along with five others, beyond usual period of 90 days, has said that Magistrates can authorise detention of National Investigation Agency (NIA) suspects up to 180 days.
