SC Seeks Report on SYL Land, Orders Status Quo As of Nov 30 - 01.12.2016

Supreme Court has ordered status quo on land acquired for construction of Sutlej-Yamuna Link (SYL) canal's stretch in Punjab and appointed Union Home Secretary, Punjab's Chief Secretary and Director General of Police as receivers.
