Supreme Court Terms West Bengal Government’s Plea in Singur Land Acquisition Case ‘Infructuous’ - 28.11.2016

Supreme Court has termed as “infructuous” appeals of West Bengal Government against Calcutta High Court order, which had in June 2012 struck down Singur Land Act that had allowed State Government to reclaim 400 acres of land given to Tata Motors.
