NGT Allows Widening of Highway through Karnala Bird Sanctuary - 07.09.2015

National Green Tribunal (NGT) has allowed National Highways Authority of India's plea seeking approval for diversion of a stretch of land in core area of Karnala bird sanctuary from forest to non-forest purpose, to facilitate widening of Panvel-Indapur stretch.
