SC Stays Gujarat HC Orders on One Ward, Four Councillors - 07.09.2015

SC has stayed Gujarat HC order dismissing petition challenging holding of local body elections under certain provision which increased number of councillors in a ward to four. The court also issued notices to Gujarat Government, State Election Commission and others, seeking replies within two weeks.
