Delhi HC Imposes Fine of Rs 10 lakh on Ram Gopal Varma for Violating Copyright of ‘Sholey’ - 01.09.2015

Delhi High Court has imposed Rs 10 lakh fine on film maker Ram Gopal Varma and his production house for "intentionally and deliberately" coming out with remake of 1975 blockbuster 'Sholay', violating exclusive copyright vested with its director Ramesh Sippy.
