Madras HC to State: Frame Law to Use EVMs in Civic Polls - 22.09.2016

Madras HC has directed State Government “in its wisdom” to take immediate steps to bring in legislation incorporating appropriate provision in the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act for use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) in rural local body elections.
