Supreme Court Rejects Plea Over Quota for Marathas in Maharashtra - 20.09.2016

SC has denied to entertain a petition challenging Maharashtra government’s decision to grant 16% quota to Marathas in jobs and education in the state. The Court, however, allowed the petitioner to approach Bombay high court for “expeditious” hearing of the case.
