Madras HC Dismisses “Beedi” Manufacturers’ Appeal - 28.07.2016

Madras HC has dismissed a batch of writ appeals filed by Beedi manufacturers, including with regard to a dispute over payment of wages less than that prescribed by the Minimum Wages Act, 1948 and directed employers to pay differential wage with penalty.
