Kerala HC: Orders Barring Disclosure of Witness Statements Must State Reasons For Each Witness - 09.02.2026

Kerala HC clarified that under Section 44 of the UAPA, any order barring disclosure of witness statements must examine each witness individually and record reasons, while hearing a petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita challenging Special Court orders for NIA cases.
