Jharkhand HC: Regular Bail Plea During Interim Bail is Not Maintainable under Section 483 BNSS - 04.02.2026

Jharkhand High Court held that an accused released on interim bail is not deemed to be in “custody” for seeking regular bail under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023, unless the accused is actually in judicial custody or has surrendered before the court.
