SC: Complaint U/S 175(4) BNSS Against a Public Servant Must Meet the Conditions of Section 175(3) - 28.01.2026

Supreme Court held that a Magistrate cannot entertain a complaint against a public servant under Section 175(4) of the BNSS unless the complainant first satisfies Section 175(3), by showing that a written complaint supported by an affidavit was earlier submitted to the Superintendent of Police.
