Supreme Court: Single FIR is Permissible in Mass Cheating Cases Arising From One Conspiracy - 07.01.2026

Supreme Court held that where a single criminal conspiracy leads to mass cheating of investors, one FIR is sufficient and other complaints may be treated as Section 161 CrPC statements, setting aside the Delhi High Court’s 2019 ruling requiring separate FIRs for each investor.
