Supreme Court: Mutation of Revenue Records Can Be Based on a Will - 23.12.2025

Supreme Court held that mutation of land records can be carried out on the basis of a will and cannot be denied merely because the claim is testamentary, restoring mutation in favour of a legatee while clarifying that such entry remains subject to the outcome of civil proceedings on title.
