SC: SARFAESI Act Was Not Applicable in Nagaland Before its 2021 Adoption, Dismisses Creditor’s Plea - 17.12.2025

Supreme Court has dismissed a secured creditor’s plea to initiate recovery under the SARFAESI Act against a borrower in Nagaland, holding that such proceedings were impermissible as the Central law was not in force in the State at the relevant time.
