Supreme Court: Police May Freeze Bank Accounts under S.102 CrPC in Prevention of Corruption Cases - 11.12.2025

Supreme Court held that police or investigating agencies have the authority to freeze a person’s bank account under Section 102 CrPC (now Section 106 BNSS) when proceedings are initiated against them under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
