SC: NCLT Can Forfeit Entire Deposit if Purchaser Defaults on Payment for Liquidation Assets - 11.12.2025

Supreme Court held that if a purchaser defaults on payment for liquidation assets sold under judicial supervision, the entire deposit can be forfeited. Section 74 of the Indian Contract Act cannot be invoked for a refund, as no contract exists between the purchaser and the liquidator.
