Delhi HC: Oral Waiver of a Show-Cause Notice is Invalid And Continued Detention of Goods is Unlawful - 26.11.2025

Delhi High Court held that the Customs Department cannot lawfully continue detaining or seizing goods when the show-cause notice or personal hearing has only been waived orally, ruling that such oral waivers have no legal validity and render continued detention illegal.
