SC Holds That if Some Offences Are Quashed On Compromise, The FIR Cannot Continue For Others - 18.11.2025

Supreme Court set aside the Bombay High Court’s Aurangabad Bench order that partially quashed an FIR, holding that when some offences from a single transaction are quashed on compromise, the FIR cannot be sustained for remaining offences arising from the same continuous incident.
