NCLAT: Pre-COVID Defaults do not Exempt Debtors From Insolvency Proceedings - 10.11.2025

National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) New Delhi upheld the initiation of CIRP against Majestic Hotels Ltd., holding that defaults before the COVID-19 suspension are not protected under Section 10A of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC).
