Supreme Court: Tendering Authority Cannot Impose Conditions That Contradict the Tender Notice - 03.11.2025

Supreme Court has quashed a bidder’s disqualification, ruling that the tendering authority wrongly imposed a condition not mentioned in the Notice Inviting Tender. The court noted that rejecting the bid for lacking a District Magistrate-issued certificate was outside the NIT’s terms.
